THE LATE COUNTRY MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT LEGEND. A CONTRACT FROM THE TELEVISION SERIES THAT MADE HIM A HOUSEHOLD NAME. The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS.

The one-page 8.5" x 14" contract, dated April 16, 1969, for the licensing of two Glen Campbell songs in television programs, ia boldly signed by the late country legend in black ink at the clothes. A glossy black and white 7 x 9 photo of Campbell and actress Kathy Kersh on the set of ABC's SHINDIG! A 5.5" X 8.5" press note from ABC, noting the episode of the musical variety show would be broadcast on August 20, 1965.

He was best known for a series of hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s, and for hosting The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS television from 1969 until 1972. In June 2011, Campbell announced he'd been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease six months earlier.

He became a patient at an Alzheimer's long-term care and treatment facility in 2014. That same year Campbell was the subject of the documentary'Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me,' directed by longtime friend James Keach. Campbell died in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 8, 2017, at the age of 81. He was buried in the Campbell family cemetery in Billstown, Arkansas.

THE GLEN CAMPBELL GOODTIME HOUR. Was a music and comedy television variety show hosted by Glen Campbell from January 29, 1969, to June 13, 1972, on CBS. He was offered the show after he hosted a 1968 summer replacement for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. Campbell used "Gentle on My Mind" as the theme song of the show. The show was one of the few shows with rural audience appeal to survive CBS's rural purge of 1971, a survival made more unusual because it had fallen out of the top 30 shows that season.

She was previously married to Burt Ward and Vince Edwards. (May 11, 1953 - April 12, 2016) was an American producer and television personality.
