William Makepeace Thackeray (18 July 1811 - 24 December 1863) was a British novelist and author. He is known for his satirical works, particularly Vanity Fair, a panoramic portrait of English society. It reads, Always yours my dear Aunt affectionately (& in a great hurry).

The signed item is mounted and matted along with an illustration of Thackeray which shows him seated in probably his library. It is ready to be framed and proudly displayed! It comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity. The full piece measures 8 1/2" wide by 14" tall. A great addition to a collection!
